4 Decades, Part 3 – 20 to 29 years

As I walk through the recollections of my first four decades, (Part 1, Part 2) I realize the decade immediately following my college experience is the one with the most life shaping change.

After graduating from Baylor I stayed in Waco to avoid moving home and try to figure out my next best move toward filmmaking. I still had friends in school so I lived the college student lifestyle without any actual classes. 4 Decades, Part 1 – 0 to 9 years

I’m going to be a cliché for a little while. I’m turning 40, and I’m reflecting back on my life. However, this isn’t bemoaning my current situation or longing for by-gone days, but a genuine desire to remember.

So to that end I’m going to post a piece on each decade and tell a few stories of unique or strange experiences that made the biggest impression on me or seem like something few can say they’ve done.
